Ada Jabaru

Ada Jabaru is the Director of Nistad Financial Services a consultancy that provides compliance solutions for financial institutions with a primary focus on order management systems implementation, Investment guidelines compliance reporting, Rule creation and Testing, Ethical investing reporting, CSR reporting, pre and post trade monitoring and reporting. Ada is a strategic and performance focused compliance Executive with a B.SC in Economic and Social Policy and an M.Sc. in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics with over 12 years of diversified experience in leading, controlling and managing investment portfolio compliance projects, specialising in ensuring ethical investing from a systems perspective in front office order management systems like Blackrock Aladdin, Charles river, Sentinel, Thinkfolio, Bloomberg Aim and other such systems that mitigate risk within asset management ensuring client and regulatory guidelines are fully adhered to. Ada wrote a paper “the paradox of plenty” the relationship between business and the community which focuses on the issues faced by communities that have experienced environmental depletion due to explorative activities of oil and gas multinationals and speaks on this as a volunteer lecturer at the School of management, Birkbeck college, University of London and various other institutions. Ada enjoys reading, travelling, networking and cooking. Ada is a monthly volunteer at the St Francis Hospice in the IPU department. Ada has passion for youth empowerment also supports various mentoring programmes supporting 6th formers with preparing their personal statements, career choices and general guidance. Ada was also a volunteer with the reading scheme programme by Bank of New York Mellon an initiative that allows banking professionals to give an hour a week of their lunch time to read with primary school children.
